Overview
The Lucid-X family is a modular, small-footprint microwave signal generator series available in Desktop, PXIe, Benchtop, Rackmount and Portable form factors. The LSX2091R is the 20 GHz single-channel 19-inch 1U rackmount variant, engineered for low phase noise and high spectral purity across microwave frequencies.

The Lucid-X family delivers benchmark spectral purity and low phase noise for demanding LO, IMD and DAC/ADC clocking applications. Typical harmonic performance: harmonics ~ -50 dBc; non-harmonics ~ -90 dBc, supporting applications that require low spurious content.

Features — Analog and Pulse Modulation
Built-in analog modulation: FM (max deviation up to 10 MHz, rates up to 1 MHz), AM (linear depth up to 90%, rates up to 100 kHz), PM (peak deviation up to 360°). Pulse modulation offers a high on/off ratio (typ. 70 dB) and very fast rise/fall times (<15 ns), suitable for radar, EW and pulsed communications testing.

Features — Fast Frequency Switching
Supports ultra-fast switching down to 10 µs to minimize dead time in automated test sequences and to simulate frequency-hopping or pulse-to-pulse scenarios required in modern communications and electronic warfare environments.

Industry-standard SCPI and VISA support. Remote control via LAN and USB; programmable with Python, MATLAB, C#/C++, LabVIEW. Includes a virtual front panel for graphical local or network operation.
