Detailed Functional FeaturesSignal Integrity and PurityThe Lucid-X family delivers exceptionally low phase noise across up to 40 GHz. Representative phase noise at 10 kHz offset: -148 dBc/Hz at 100 MHz, -133 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, -114 dBc/Hz at 10 GHz. Harmonics typically at -50 dBc; non-harmonics at -90 dBc. Engineered for Local Oscillators, IMD measurement systems, and high-performance DAC/ADC clocking.
Analog and Pulse ModulationProvides AM, FM, PM, Sweep and Pulse modulation: FM maximum deviations up to 10 MHz and rates to 1 MHz; AM linear depth up to 90% and rates to 100 kHz; PM peak deviation up to 360°; Pulse Modulation with typical on/off ratio ~70 dB and rise/fall times <15 ns.
Fast Frequency Switching10 µs frequency switching capability (ultra-fast switching option available) to support rapid automated testing and simulation of frequency-hopping/radar/EW scenarios.
Control and ProgrammingUses industry-standard SCPI and VISA architecture for remote control. Interfaces include LAN and USB. Easily programmable from Python, MATLAB, C#/C++, LabVIEW. Includes a virtual front panel GUI for local or remote control.
