The Spin‑Mix‑Spin process performs an initial centrifugation to collect microvolumes at the well bottom, a mixing step, then a second centrifugation to recover reagents from well walls and caps. This repetitive routine (sms‑algorithm) is registered by Biosan. CVP-2 executes the sms‑algorithm automatically on two PCR plates in parallel to standardize workflow and reduce manual handling time.
