OverviewThe KL26 telescopic aerial platform is mounted on a chassis with decking made from bamboo fibers, balsa and other bio-based composites. The main advantage is a more eco-friendly carrier using renewable materials whose production absorbs CO2 rather than emits it: absorption of approximately 2 tons of CO2 (compared with production of 1 ton of aluminium which emits about 21.8 tons of CO2). The composite decking provides higher mechanical resistance than aluminium, offers an increased payload of about +20 kg and features a non-slip bamboo top layer with improved weather resistance.
