The MC1000e is a simple push-button controller designed for submicron positioning, compatible with Siskiyou's 800 and 7000 series actuators, manipulators, and stages. It features two preset speed settings: rapid (1.7 mm/second) and medium (300 µm/second). The third speed selector (slow) uses a variable 330° potentiometer, allowing speed adjustments from high (50 µm/second) to low (2 µm/second). At the slowest setting, consistent 0.2 µm moves can be achieved with a simple bump of an axis button. The controller utilizes encoder feedback from the motor for precise device control, enabling the use of the DR1000 digital readout for repeated positioning requirements. The MC1000e uses a CE certified power supply for clean DC power.
