The MC1100e is a simple 4-axis push-button controller designed for submicron positioning, compatible with Siskiyou's 800 and 7000 series actuators, manipulators, and stages. It features two preset speed settings—rapid (1.7 mm/second) and medium (300 µm/second)—and a third, variable speed selector (slow) with a 330° potentiometer, allowing for fine adjustments from 50 µm/second down to 2 µm/second. At the slowest setting, the controller enables consistent 0.2 µm movements with a simple button press. The MC1100e uses encoder feedback from the motor for precise device control, supporting the use of the DR1000 digital readout for repeatable positioning.
Target/Retract FeatureThe controller includes a target/retract function on one axis, allowing users to set a target location and easily retract or return to a precise position with dedicated buttons.
Power and Noise ControlThe MC1100e is powered by a CE certified supply for clean DC power. All cables are shielded and equipped with a central ground lug on the junction box to ensure noise-free operation, making it suitable for sensitive electrophysiology experiments.
