The 500XMM series of open loop actuators are designed specifically for driving mirror mounts that use 3/8" brass bushings to mount their drive screws. Their compact design minimizes interference to other devices in the area. The simple design uses a quiet-running DC servo motor, that is very stable even when powered down.
