Overview
A manual lever chain hoist, also called a come-along, allows one-handed pulling, dragging, positioning or lifting of loads. The design is similar to hand-chain operated hoists. While lever chain hoists can be rated for overhead lifting, not all come-alongs are suitable for overhead use. Check that the product title includes the term Hoist or specifies a lifting capacity before using for overhead lifting. Manual lever chain hoists are intended for commercial and industrial applications in tight spaces and low headroom.

Introduction
Lever blocks are designed to lift loads within their rated capacity and must never be used beyond that limit. They are common equipment in garages, workshops and construction sites. Lever blocks are available in single-fall and multiple-fall chain configurations; select the configuration according to the weight to be lifted.

Standards
Lever hoists operate with a handle connected to an internal ratchet and gear mechanism. Cranking the lever drives the ratchets and a directional control switches the internal gear to raise or lower the load. The load hook secures the load. Units can be customized to customer requirements.
