The 9-205-ESD SPANNFIX is an ESD-safe ball-joint vise designed for clamping to workbenches. It provides a 360° rotatable, steplessly lockable joint and a dissipative surface suitable for electrostatically protected areas. Constructed from cast aluminium with an ESD powder coating, it includes interchangeable jaws for sensitive workpieces.

Application
A slight lever pressure is sufficient to align the clamped workpiece steplessly into any required working position. Individual height adjustment supports ergonomic standing work (drilling, sawing, grinding, milling, cutting, etc.). Interchangeable jaws: 50 mm ESD plastic jaws for the small vise and 100 mm steel jaws for the large vise. Protective jaws are available in felt, leather, cork and rubber coatings. Jaws with aluminium prisms are suitable for clamping pipes. The screw-on vice fastening suits workbenches up to 80 mm table thickness and can be mounted to benches, tables and base plates via four 9 mm through holes.

Technical description
Maximum torque: ball Ø 40 mm ≈ 24 Nm, ball Ø 60 mm ≈ 100 Nm. ESD versions are dissipative (10^7–10^8 Ω) and EPA-suitable for electrostatically protected areas. Foot sections can be connected to grounding via a 10 mm push button. Cast aluminium parts are powder coated; steel parts are chrome-plated and rust-free. The adjusting screw on the lower seat of the ball allows setting ball movement from loose to very firm. Holding forces may vary depending on application and conditions.
