The 9-257-ESD is an ESD rapid turning device (SPANNFIX accessory) that provides a precision, rotatable ball-joint quick-release adapter for PCB holders and ESD ball-joint vices. It enables fast, stepless rotation and safe use in electrostatically protected areas.

Area of application
Accessory or replacement for ball-joint vice 9-251-ESD, used in conjunction with adapter 9-253-ESD. Designed for use in electrostatically protected areas (ESD workplace / ESD protection zone).

EPA suitable. The ESD version features a dissipative black surface with a resistance between 10^7 and 10^8 ohm. The base can be connected to the earthing point using a 10 mm push button.
