Description
The BERNSTEIN ESD ball joint vice SPANNFIX is a dissipative, rotatable and tiltable vice designed for secure clamping in electrostatically protected areas and for screwing onto workbenches. It features a continuously adjustable joint head with quick-release and stepless locking to position workpieces ergonomically.

Area of application
The vice allows stepless alignment of the clamped workpiece into a wide range of working positions by light lever pressure, improving ergonomics for standing operations such as drilling, sawing, grinding, milling and cutting. Interchangeable jaws and prism or coated jaws enable clamping of pipes and delicate parts. The screw-on base is suitable for tables and workbenches up to 80 mm thickness and is secured via four Ø9 mm through holes. High-performance magnets can be used for quick, changeable fastening.

Technical description
Maximum torque: ball Ø40 mm approx. 24 Nm; ball Ø60 mm approx. 100 Nm. Screw-on base plate size: 150 x 106 mm with 4 x Ø9 mm through holes. ESD versions are dissipative (10^7 to 10^8 ohm) and suitable for EPA (electrostatically protected areas). Foot sections can be connected to a grounding point via a 10 mm push-button. Cast aluminium parts are powder-coated; steel parts are chrome-plated and rust-free. An adjusting screw on the lower seat of the ball allows fine adjustment of ball movement from loose to very firm. Holding forces may vary with application and environmental conditions.
