Area of application
The SPANNFIX VARIO can be used to clamp PCBs / circuit boards up to a length of 270 mm. The infinitely adjustable ball allows positioning and secure holding in all directions, enabling quick turning of boards and serving as a helpful "third hand" for soldering and assembly.

Technical description
Connection thread: M12 x 1.5 mm (special thread). Maximum torque and holding forces depend on ball diameter: ball Ø 40 mm approx. 24 Nm (holding force at threaded pin height ≈ 45 kg / 441 N); ball Ø 60 mm approx. 100 Nm (holding force ≈ 140 kg / 1,372 N). Clamping base: table thickness max. 80 mm. Screw-base: 4 x 9 mm through holes. Magnetic base holding force: 32 kg horizontally, 15 kg vertically (magnet without cap). ESD versions are dissipative (10^7 to 10^8 ohm) and suitable for EPA / ESD workplaces. Foot sections can be connected to the grounding point with a 10 mm push button. Cast aluminum parts are powder coated; steel parts chrome-plated and rust-free. Note: holding forces measured under optimal test conditions may differ in specific applications.
