The SPANNFIX VARIO 9-250-ESD is a precision, ESD-safe ball-joint combination for clamping and holding printed circuit boards (PCBs) and cables. It includes interchangeable head parts and a steplessly lockable 360° ball joint for flexible positioning.

Technical description
The product uses a special connection thread M12 x 1.5. Maximum torque and holding forces depend on ball diameter: ball Ø 40 mm — max torque ≈ 24 Nm and holding force at threaded pin height ≈ 45 kg (441 N); ball Ø 60 mm — max torque ≈ 100 Nm and holding force ≈ 140 kg (1,372 N). Magnetic base holding force (magnet without cap): 32 kg horizontally, 15 kg vertically. ESD versions are dissipative (10^7–10^8 ohm) and suitable for electrostatically protected areas (EPA). Foot sections can be grounded via a 10 mm push-stud. Cast aluminum parts are powder-coated; steel parts are chrome-plated and rust-free. Note: holding forces may vary with application and conditions.
