Description

Ethernet module with 8 analog inputs featuring 24-bit ADC and 8 digital inputs/outputs. The R-8AI-8DIDO module includes two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports supporting ModBUS TCP-IP and RS485 communication with ModBUS RTU protocol. Designed for flexible wiring, limited installation space, and high I/O density applications, it integrates Ethernet networking. The module offers 8 high-resolution (24-bit) analog inputs and 8 digital channels, configurable as inputs or outputs. Configuration is possible via a web server with HTML5 support or a DIP switch. The IP address, MAC address, and firmware version can be managed using the Seneca Discovery Device (SDD) tool. It supports Ethernet daisy chain mode with fault bypass, ensuring connectivity even if a module fails. The advanced "ModBUS Passthrough" function allows redirection of Modbus TCP-IP requests to RS485, acting as a gateway.
