Ethernet module with 4 inputs from thermoresistances and 8 digital inputs/outputs
The R-4RTD-8DIDO mixed digital module is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, supporting both Modbus TCP/IP and RS-485 serial communication with the Modbus RTU protocol. Like all models in the R Series, it is designed to meet flexible cabling requirements, limited installation space, and high I/O density applications with integrated Ethernet networking. R-4RTD-8DIDO offers 4 thermoresistance inputs and 8 digital channels, each of which can be individually configured as a digital input or output. Configuration is via a web server with HTML5 support or DIP switches. The IP address, MAC address, and firmware version associated with the module can be identified or configured on the LAN using the SDD (Seneca Discovery Device) tool.
The module can be connected in Ethernet daisy chain mode with fault bypass to ensure Ethernet connection even if a module in the chain fails. In addition, the device has an advanced “ModBUS Passthrough” function, which allows the module to redirect requests from Modbus TCP-IP to RS485, effectively acting as a gateway. 4-input Ethernet module for thermoresistances and 8 digital inputs/outputs.
