Product description Gleitef SG is a double-acting sealing element consisting of a PTFE seal and an O-ring as preload element. It is an active sealing element: as system pressure increases, the sealing-edge force increases. PTFE sealing elements are machined and can be manufactured for specific installation spaces and diameters. The PTFE compound can be filled with bronze or carbon graphite to improve compressive strength; other materials on request. O-rings are available in a variety of materials. Suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, fittings, presses and machine tools.
Fields of application - static
- dynamic
- single acting
- double acting
