Description
DescriptionGleitef SD is a double-acting sealing element combining a PTFE sealing ring and an elastomer O-ring as a preload element. It functions as an active seal: as system pressure rises, the load on the sealing edge increases.
Product detailsGleitef SD requires minimal installation space and meets the requirements for dynamic O-ring seals. It is intended for applications with limited space and moderate pressures. The PTFE component can be supplied unfilled or filled (special filler or carbon graphite) to increase compressive strength. O-rings are available in several elastomer materials. Typical installations include hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, fittings, presses and machine tools.
