Product description
Varitef SH is a single-acting (active) sealing element composed of a PTFE sealing ring combined with a stainless steel spiral spring as preload. The design increases contact force as system pressure rises, making the seal self-energizing and suitable for compensating larger gaps. The PTFE compound is available with special fillers (e.g. carbon) to improve compressive strength. Its material combination allows wide temperature use and sterilization, which makes Varitef SH appropriate for valves, pumps, dosing systems and blenders in food and medical technology. Suitable for slow rotating movements and linear applications.
