DescriptionThe U-cup N2 is a one-piece, single-acting sealing element with a symmetrical U-profile, available in NBR and TPU. It is an active sealing element: as system pressure increases, the sealing lips generate higher radial load to improve sealing performance. Compared with the U-cup N1, the N2 features lower friction and is suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. NBR grades are recommended as primary seals for system pressures up to 15 MPa. TPU (polyurethane) grades provide excellent abrasion resistance and can be used as primary and secondary seals for pressures up to 40 MPa. Standard hardness: NBR ≈90 Shore A; TPU standard compound ≈93 Shore A. Custom hardness and color options available on request.
