Product overviewGleitef KW is a double-acting sealing element composed of a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) sealing ring combined with an O-ring as a preload element. It is an active sealing system: as system pressure increases, sealing load on the edges increases. The specially profiled geometry prevents blow-by during double-sided pressurization.

Materials and general propertiesTPU offers excellent abrasion resistance and performs well under limited lubrication. The standard TPU compound is produced with a hardness of 93–96 Shore A and is available in several colors. O-rings are available in standard elastomer materials (NBR, FKM, others on request).
