Product overviewGleitef KF is a double-acting sealing element which consists of a PTFE seal and an O-ring as preload element. Gleitef SF is an active sealing element and as the system pressure increases, the force on the sealing edge also increases. Gleitef KF requires a much small installation space than Gleitef KG and is used for applications with limited space and lower pressures. This is particularly suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, fittings, presses and machine tools. The PTFE compound is filled with a special filler or with carbon graphite to improve the compressive strength. Further compounds upon request. O-rings are available in a variety of different materials.
