Product description The U-cup sealing element N3 is a one-piece, single-acting seal designed for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It is available in NBR and polyurethane (TPU). As an active sealing profile, the sealing lips increase sealing force with rising system pressure, improving primary sealing performance.
Performance and applications The U-cup N3 is suitable for static and dynamic applications exposed to high shear forces. NBR versions are typically used as primary seals for system pressures up to 15 MPa. TPU versions are suitable for working pressures up to 40 MPa and can be used as primary and secondary seals thanks to their superior abrasion resistance.
Materials and hardness Standard materials: NBR and TPU. The standard TPU compound has a hardness of 93 Shore A. Other hardness grades and colors are available on request to match specific application requirements.
