Product description Stuftef SS is a single-acting active sealing element composed of a PTFE sealing profile and an O-ring used as preload. The design increases sealing force as system pressure rises and conveys a thin lubricating film from the rod back into the pressure chamber during return strokes. PTFE can be filled (bronze or carbon graphite) to improve compressive strength. O-rings are offered in various elastomer compounds. This solution is suited to industrial hydraulic and pneumatic applications including cylinders, fittings, presses and machine tools.
