OverviewThe BBDM-22KR30M-B is an air-coupled ultrasonic distance transducer with a 22 kHz center frequency (±5%). It provides a reference detection range of 1.0–30 m for large-tank level monitoring, industrial distance measurement, collision avoidance, area surveillance and long-range target detection. The sensor is supplied in a PTFE housing with IP68 protection suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Electrical loadThe specified electrical load is a minimum impedance of 400 Ω (±20%) with a capacitance of 9,500 pF (±20%) measured at 1 kHz. Operating peak voltage must remain below 1,500 Vpp.

Far-range echo conditionsThe 30 m value is a reference. Received echo strength depends on target size and inclination, atmospheric attenuation, temperature gradients and obstructions within the 13° beam. The lower limit of the reference range is 1 m; performance should be validated for specific target and site conditions.
