Overview
The BBDM-5MR1M is a 5 MHz ultrasonic transducer designed for external liquid level detection on tanks. Documented detection range is 0.01 to 1 m with a half-power beam angle of 0.8° at -3 dB. Typical applications include fuel and oil tanks, sealed tank monitoring, vehicle and machinery tanks, and through-wall detection of corrosive liquids. The design allows sensing where the liquid is contained behind a tank wall.
