The SiS Li‑Ion Premium I/O 90 cabinet by LaCont is designed for certified industrial storage and optional charging of lithium‑ion batteries. Tested to the VDMA 24994 standard, the cabinet resists internal thermal runaway and provides external fire resistance >90 minutes (O 90). The tested maximum battery energy per cabinet is 8 kWh. Integrated pressure relief, mechanical ventilation and monitored safety systems reduce the risk of flame, projectile and fragment escape and enable automatic emergency shutdown.

Product information and facilities
The cabinet can be equipped with an optional integrated aerosol extinguishing generator that activates automatically on critical temperature rise or fire. The control unit continuously monitors the interior; when a smoke detector triggers, the system issues visual and audible alarms, shuts off power and ventilation, and can send a potential‑free alarm contact to building management or a control centre. An optional GSM module enables remote monitoring and alarm notification. Cable preparation for customer‑fitted fire alarm sensors is included.
