Overview
The SiS Li‑Ion Premium I/O 90 battery cabinet by LaCont is a tested solution for safe storage and optional charging of lithium‑ion batteries. Designed and tested to VDMA 24994 standards, the cabinet limits risks from internal thermal runaway and provides >90 minutes external fire resistance. With an assessed total energy capacity up to 8.0 kWh, integrated pressure relief and mechanical ventilation, it reduces the release of flames, projectiles and shrapnel in battery failure scenarios.

Active fire suppression (optional)
Optionally fitted with an integrated aerosol fire‑extinguishing generator that activates automatically upon critical temperature rise or fire; the aerosol fills the interior within seconds to suppress flames and limit fire spread.
