Overview
The SiS Li-Ion Basic battery cabinet from LaCont is an entry-level solution for active and passive storage and optional charging of lithium‑ion rechargeable batteries. The product prioritises fire protection and containment to limit the effects of a battery incident on people and the surrounding area.

Key features

• Certified complete structure with 90 minutes fire resistance for internal and external exposure (fire resistance class EI90, tested to EN 1363-1).
• Constructed from non-combustible building materials (Class A2 – s1, d0 according to DIN EN 13501-1); body in aluminium colour, doors in RAL 1023 (traffic yellow).
• Perimeter fire protection seals that automatically expand/foam in case of fire.
• Doors lockable with a double‑bit cylinder lock (swing lever).
• Integrated ventilation system with smoke detector and fan; mechanical ventilation and smoke detection are standard; ventilation shuts off automatically in the event of a fire.
• Fire‑resistant cable entries at top and bottom for retrofitting alarm wiring or power feeds.
• Smooth‑opening doors with 180° opening angle; doors are non‑self‑closing.
