OverviewThe SiS Li-Ion Premium I/O 90 cabinet from LaCont is designed for safe active and passive storage and optional charging of lithium‑ion batteries. Engineered and tested according to VDMA 24994, it resists internal thermal runaway, provides certified external fire protection (O 90, >90 minutes) and prevents escape of flames, projectiles and fragments. Integrated pressure relief, mechanical ventilation and an electronic control unit enhance operational safety.
Key features- Designed and tested for storage and charging of lithium‑ion batteries (VDMA 24994)
- Internal thermal runaway protection (VDMA 24994)
- External fire resistance: > 90 minutes (O 90)
- Prevents release of flames, projectiles and shrapnel in case of cell failure
- Max tested energy per cabinet: 8.0 kWh (raw cells)
- Constructed from non‑combustible materials; body RAL aluminium colour, doors RAL 1023 (traffic yellow)
- Perimeter fire‑protection seals that foam on exposure to fire
- Double‑leaf door with central mullion; lockable with profile cylinder (locking systems compatible)
- Audible reminder alarm after 60 seconds if doors remain open
- Technical (mechanical) ventilation to prevent internal heat build‑up
- Base with 100 mm clearance for pallet truck/forklift; removable plinth panel
- Height‑adjustable powder‑coated steel shelves — 4 standard; 75 kg load per shelf
