Description

Overview

  • Compact combined machining lathe integrating turning and rotating-tool (milling) cutting processes for small parts.
  • Y-axis with milling capability enables multi-process machining in a single setup to reduce handling and cycle time.
  • Available in two main versions: TCY-160IIYS (with right spindle, right C-axis, 6+6" chuck) and TCY-160IIY (with NC tailstock, 6" chuck).
  • 12-station drum turret (all-holder type) and left/right C-axis configurations support complex contouring and multi-op operations.


Automation and software

  • Supports Takisawa gantry loader for continuous automatic operation; bar feeder automation also available.
  • Optional interactive programming software TiwaP-1 for program creation, 3D animation/tool-path simulation and simplified operation without deep G-code knowledge.
  • Designed for integration with peripheral equipment to enable lights-out or high-mix automated production.
