OverviewThe NGI Cooler™ eliminates evaporation induced by the thermal mass of the impactor and provides a temperature-controlled environment to preserve the Aerodynamic Particle Size Distribution (APSD) of aerosolised droplets during testing of nebulisers and air-driven inhalers. It cools the impactor to the target testing temperature (typically 5°C) and is compatible with both the Next Generation Impactor (NGI) and the Anderson Cascade Impactor (ACI).
Key features- Ph. Eur. and USP compliant; EPAG recommended
- Precise temperature control with rapid stabilisation
- Accommodates NGI or ACI in open or closed positions
- Large front and rear doors for safe, easy access
- Twin side access ports for nebuliser and optional mixing inlet
- Additional cooled space for collection cups or accessories to enable consecutive tests
NGI Cooler ShelfThe optional shelf permits APSD testing with one NGI at the optimum 5°C while a second cup tray or accessories (or a spare NGI) are maintained at the same temperature, minimising downtime between runs. The shelf design preserves airflow to ensure consistent cooling performance.
NGI Cooler Stand for BRS 200iThe dedicated stand raises the NGI Cooler™ to create clearance beneath the unit to accommodate the BRS 200i aerosol generator, optimising benchtop layout.
