OverviewEnviroMate™ is a compact benchtop environmental chamber engineered for delivered dose uniformity (DDU) and aerodynamic particle size distribution (APSD) testing of OINDPs (orally inhaled and nasal drug products). The unit provides localized control of temperature and relative humidity in the immediate test area, ensures uniform distribution throughout the chamber and integrates an electrostatic minimisation system to reduce charge and improve repeatability of aerosol test data.
Key features- Specifically designed for OINDP DDU and APSD testing
- Accepts all common dose uniformity sampling fixtures and cascade impactors
- High‑sensitivity temperature and RH sensors for accurate control
- Engineered for uniform temperature and humidity distribution inside the test volume
- Built‑in electrostatic minimisation system to reduce electrostatic effects on aerosol measurements
- Access ports and quick connectors to interface with external ancillaries and breathing simulators
- No routine maintenance required
Example applicationsLocalized environmental control for DDU and APSD testing of inhalers and nebulisers, including use with breathing simulators, impactor cooling accessories and external measurement ancillaries; improves accuracy, sensitivity and reproducibility of OINDP aerosol testing.
