OverviewThe PCASP-100X is an aircraft-mounted optical spectrometer for in-flight measurement of aerosol particles in the 0.1–3.0 µm diameter range. Designed for integration with aircraft probes and cannister-based sampling systems, it provides real-time single-particle sizing and counting data.

TechnologyParticle light-scattering detection: an optical bench collects light scattered by individual particles passing through a HeNe 0.6328 µm laser beam. A three-stage amplification system covers the full particle-size range and supports high counting rates.

PADS – Particle Analysis and Display SystemPADS is optional software that provides a virtual instrument panel to control the PCASP-100X, display real-time data and logs, and perform post-processing.
