Product overviewThe 700-GLEL explosive limit level (LEL) analyzer continuously measures flammable hydrocarbon concentration in gas samples. It uses Flame Ionization Detection (FID) in a heated oven containing a burner and regulated air/hydrogen supply. Hydrocarbons are ionized in the flame, producing an electrical current between electrodes that is measured to calculate hydrocarbon concentration and LEL values.
