Description

Overview
The A30-CEN bCPC is a condensation particle counter using n-Butanol as working fluid, designed for ambient air particle number monitoring and compliant with EN 16976:2024. It detects ultrafine particles by growing nanoparticles in a saturator–condenser system to optically detectable sizes and is suitable for field and laboratory use (4.9 kg).

Key features
  • Concentration range: 0–500,000 #/cm³ (single particle counting mode)
  • Dp50: 10 nm ±1 nm (CEN-compliant); Dp90 < 20 nm
  • Nominal inlet/sample flow: 1.0 lpm / 0.2 lpm (bypass 0.8 lpm)
  • Compact: 190 × 170 × 250 mm, 4.9 kg; typical power 40 W
  • Open calibration algorithm
  • Touchscreen user interface
  • Advanced signal diagnostics and instrument health parameters
  • Compatible with PSM 2.0 and dualCPC workflows; BlockSafe inlet system

Individual counting
  • Calibration algorithms that offer complete transparency and traceability

Applications
Standalone ambient and indoor particle number monitoring, detector CPC in scanning mobility particle sizers (PSM/SMPS), detector in nano-CNC systems for sub-3 nm measurements, cleanroom monitoring and research applications.
