OverviewThe A30-CEN pgCPC is a CEN‑compliant condensation particle counter (CPC) using Propylene Glycol (PG) as the working fluid. It grows nanoparticles in a saturator–condenser system to optically detectable sizes and provides mobility‑equivalent detection from 10 nm up to 2.5 μm. The PG option enables deployment where butanol is not acceptable (airports, cleanrooms, public spaces, semiconductor facilities). An optional outdoor cabinet supports unattended year‑round operation.
PG advantages- No catalytic vapour filter (CVF) required — lowers total system cost
- No particle emission from the instrument itself
- No cross‑sensitivity with co‑located gas monitors
Applications- Airports and transport hubs
- Local authorities, ports and public infrastructure
- Cleanrooms and semiconductor manufacturing
- Public spaces and distributed urban monitoring networks
Features and benefits- Safe working fluid: odorless, non‑flammable Propylene Glycol (>99%)
- Ultra‑compact: 190 × 170 × 250 mm, 4.9 kg; nominal power ≈ 40 W
- High concentration capability: up to 500,000 #/cm³ (single particle counting mode)
- User interface: touchscreen
- Very low fluid consumption: < 0.5 L per year in 24/7 operation
- Optional outdoor cabinet for unattended deployment
NotesFor high relative humidity applications, use an aerosol dryer; the A30 includes an active water removal system. Optional outdoor cabinet available for continuous unattended operation.
