Overview
EXAIR's Deluxe Chip Vac System adds features that make the Chip Vac™ easy to use for everyday tasks. EXAIR's compressed air operated Chip Vac is an industrial duty vacuum designed specifically for vacuuming chips. It creates a powerful direct flow action that vacuums metal, wood or plastic chips into an ordinary drum. Designed for occasional use with dusty materials, the included filter bag keeps the surrounding air clean. Warning: Do not use with any material that has a low flash point or with flammable liquids such as fuel oil, alcohol, mineral spirits, gasoline or kerosene.

Styles

• Chip Vac (standard) – general purpose chip cleanup and transfer; includes Chip Vac vacuum, lever lock drum lid, auto-safety shutoff valve, filter bag, 10' (3 m) of flexible vacuum hose at 1-1/2" (38 mm) I.D., chip wand, two extension wands, crevice tool, brush and skimmer.
• Deluxe Chip Vac System – includes everything that comes with the Chip Vac plus a drum dolly and a tool holder; components sized to fit closed head drum (30, 55 or 110 gallons).
• Premium Chip Vac System – upgrades the Deluxe by adding a 30, 55 or 110 gallon drum, heavy duty aluminum tools, static resistant hose, and 20' (6.1 m) compressed air hose with quick connect fittings.
• 5 Gallon Mini Chip Vac – same features as Chip Vac but sized for a 5 gallon drum; includes 5 gallon drum with lid and locking ring and aluminum chip wand.
• 5 Gallon Deluxe Mini Chip Vac – makes the Mini easier to use in multiple locations by adding a drum dolly.

How It Works
Compressed air, normally 80-100 PSIG (5.5 - 6.9 BAR), flows through the inlet into an annular plenum chamber. It is injected into the throat through directed nozzles. These jets of air create a vacuum at the intake which draws material in, accelerates it through the unit, and directs it to the bottom of the drum. The airflow exhausts through the port in the drum lid. Airborne particles are trapped by the filter bag. Warning: Do not use with combustible dust.
