Description

Overview
The EXAIR Premium Chip Vac™ System P6393 is a compressed-air-operated industrial vacuum engineered for efficient pickup of metal, wood and plastic chips. The system uses a direct-flow nozzle assembly to convey chips into a standard drum and includes a filter bag for dusty materials. Premium systems are supplied with a 30, 55 or 110 gallon drum and heavy-duty aluminum tools.

Warning
Do not use with low flash point materials, flammable liquids (fuel oil, alcohol, mineral spirits, gasoline, kerosene) or combustible dust. Not suitable for explosive environments.

Chip Vac Styles
Five styles are available. The Premium Chip Vac System upgrades the Deluxe by adding a 30, 55 or 110 gallon drum, replacing standard tools with heavy-duty aluminum tools, and providing a 10' (3 m) static-resistant vacuum hose. A 20' (6.1 m) compressed air hose with quick-connect fittings is included.

How It Works
Compressed air (typically 80–100 PSIG / 5.5–6.9 BAR) enters an annular plenum and is injected through directed nozzles into the throat. The jets create a vacuum at the intake, drawing chips into and through the unit into the drum. Exhaust air leaves via the drum lid port; airborne particles are captured by the filter bag.
