Overview
EXAIR's compressed-air Chip Vac System is an industrial vacuum designed to collect metal, wood or plastic chips and small debris. It produces a direct-flow suction that conveys chips into a standard drum. The Mini Chip Vac System includes a 5 gallon drum for small tasks. The included filter bag reduces airborne dust during intermittent use. Drum included only with the Mini Chip Vac System (model P6193).

Warning
Do not use with materials or liquids that have a low flash point or are flammable, including fuel oil, alcohol, mineral spirits, gasoline or kerosene. Do not use with combustible dust.

Chip Vac Styles

• Chip Vac: General-purpose chip cleanup and transfer. Includes the Chip Vac vacuum assembly, lever-lock drum lid, auto-safety shutoff valve, filter bag, 10 ft of 1-1/2 in flexible vacuum hose, chip wand, two extension wands, crevice tool, brush and skimmer.
• Deluxe Chip Vac System: Adds a drum dolly and tool holder sized for closed-head drums (30, 55 or 110 gallons) to the standard kit.
• Premium Chip Vac System: Includes the Deluxe package plus a 30, 55 or 110 gallon drum, heavy-duty aluminum tools, a 10 ft static-resistant hose and 20 ft compressed air hose with quick-connect fittings.
• 5 Gallon Mini Chip Vac: Same features scaled for a 5 gallon drum; includes the 5 gallon drum with lid and locking ring and tools.
• 5 Gallon Deluxe Mini Chip Vac: Mini system with added drum dolly.

How EXAIR's Chip Vac Works
Compressed air, typically 80–100 PSIG (5.5–6.9 BAR), enters an annular plenum and is injected through directed nozzles into the throat. These jets create a vacuum at the intake, drawing material in, accelerating it through the unit and discharging it into the drum. Exhaust air leaves via the drum lid port while the filter bag traps airborne particles.
