Product Description
BBB Windlass Chain is manufactured from low carbon welded steel in a short-link (short pitch) configuration engineered for anchor windlass systems. The short-link geometry ensures smooth engagement with BBB windlass gypsies and reduces chain twisting during deployment and retrieval. Trade sizes cover 1/4 in. (7 mm) to 1/2 in. (13 mm). Chains are proof tested to 2 × WLL and supplied in standard drum lengths for marine anchoring and mooring applications.

Standards & Packaging
Manufactured in accordance with NACM, ASTM, ASME B30.26 and OSHA 1910 and common marine anchor chain manufacturing requirements. Available finishes: hot-dip galvanized, black, or self-color. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 100 meters. Packaging options: steel drum, steel pallet, wooden pallet. Each chain is proof tested at 2 × WLL; minimum breaking load typically 3–4 × WLL. Batch inspection includes visual inspection, dimensional verification, weld inspection and mechanical property testing.

Applications
Suitable for recreational boats, yachts, fishing vessels, workboats, small commercial vessels, anchor windlass systems, mooring and general marine anchoring where BBB chain is specified.

Maintenance
Inspect regularly for corrosion, excessive wear, deformation, cracked welds, elongated links and damaged coating. Verify compatibility with the windlass gypsy. Replace chain sections that exceed recommended wear limits.
