Introduction
The Admiralty Anchor, also known as the Fisherman's Anchor, is a traditional stock anchor featuring a straight shank, two fixed flukes and a transverse stock set at 90°. The stock ensures one fluke engages the seabed rapidly, delivering reliable holding on rock, gravel, sand, mud and mixed bottoms. Standard nominal weights range from 50 kg to 10,000 kg; common commercial sizes cover 60 kg to 2,500 kg. Products are manufactured from marine-grade cast steel by precision casting, heat treatment, machining, proof testing and dimensional inspection.
