Product Overview
The AC-14 High Holding Power (HHP) Anchor is a stockless anchor designed for increased holding capacity with reduced weight. It features a wide crown, long reinforced flukes and longitudinal edges to ensure rapid penetration and stable holding in sand, mud, clay and mixed seabeds. Typical applications include large container ships, car carriers, VLCCs and offshore support vessels.

Introduction
Manufactured from marine-grade cast steel, the AC-14 is produced through casting, heat treatment, machining, dimensional inspection, proof load testing and final assembly. Standard nominal weights range from 75 kg to 30,000 kg, covering small workboats to large tankers and floating platforms. As an HHP design, the AC-14 can provide comparable holding power at approximately 25% lower weight than conventional stockless anchors subject to classification society rules. Anchors are supplied with matching chains, shackles, swivels and accessories to form a complete anchoring system.

Standards and Approvals
The AC-14 is designed for commercial and offshore vessels and achieves significantly higher holding power than conventional stockless anchors of equivalent weight. It is manufactured to marine cast-steel specifications and holds approvals from major classification societies including ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, LR, NK, KR and RINA. Each unit is supplied with permanent identification marks and full inspection documentation.
