Product Overview
HDG Folding Anchor Type A is a hot-dip galvanized (HDG) four-fluke folding grapnel anchor engineered for portable anchoring of small boats, inflatable boats, kayaks, canoes, jet skis and other personal watercraft. Its folding four-arm design folds against the shank for compact onboard storage and unlocks quickly for deployment. Standard weights cover 0.7–12 kg; custom sizes available on request.

Introduction
The anchor is manufactured from welded carbon steel and finished by hot‑dip galvanizing to provide a metallurgical zinc coating suitable for both freshwater and seawater environments. A sliding locking collar secures the flukes in stowed position and releases easily to allow the arms to open and engage the seabed, creating multiple contact points for improved holding on irregular bottoms.

Application
Designed for inflatable boats, dinghies, tenders, kayaks, canoes, jet skis, personal watercraft and small recreational vessels. Effective on sand, mud, gravel, weed, coral and rocky seabeds where multiple flukes can engage irregular surfaces.

Maintenance
Inspect regularly for corrosion, bent flukes, damaged welds, wear on the sliding collar or deformation of the shank. Rinse with fresh water after seawater exposure, lubricate the collar if required and replace the anchor if structural damage or excessive corrosion is detected.
