Windlass Grade 30 5 Gallon Pail of Chain is a calibrated, welded low-carbon steel proof coil chain designed for marine anchor windlass systems and general anchoring and mooring applications. The chain is manufactured to ISO short-link dimensions for compatibility with ISO windlass gypsies and is supplied in a 5-gallon plastic pail for convenient storage, handling and transport. Available finishes: hot-dip galvanized, zinc plated or natural/self-color. Each production batch is proof load tested, dimensionally calibrated, weld inspected and visually inspected prior to shipment. The product is not intended for overhead or personnel lifting.

Applications and maintenance
Suitable for anchor windlass systems on recreational boats, yachts, fishing vessels, pontoons, marina facilities, docks and general mooring and anchoring. Not for overhead lifting, crane lifting or personnel lifting. Maintenance: inspect regularly for corrosion, excessive wear, elongated links, cracked welds, deformation and coating damage. Rinse galvanized chains with fresh water after prolonged seawater exposure and inspect periodically. Remove from service if excessive wear, damaged welds or permanent deformation are detected.
