Sensor overviewTriaxial piezoresistive (MEMS) accelerometer designed for high-impact and shock measurement in crash and test environments.
Main features- Sensor technology: Piezoresistive (MEMS, Wheatstone bridge)
- Axes: Triaxial
- Output: Analog voltage
- Measurement ranges: ±500 g, ±1000 g, ±2000 g
TechnologyThe ASC 75C1 uses a proven MEMS design with four variable resistors arranged in a Wheatstone bridge. It provides a wide dynamic bandwidth from 0 Hz to 2.5 kHz and impact resistance up to 5,000 g. Individual sensitive axes can be repaired if required and the sensor can be configured with TEDS and EQX data.
HousingLightweight aluminum housing with protection class IP65. Integrated cable with configurable length and choice of connectors. Typical mass: 13 g. Operating temperature range: -20°C to +80°C.
ApplicationsIntended for high-impact and crash/shock applications such as frontal and side impact tests in the automotive sector and other industrial shock tests. Category: crash sensors. Suitable for laboratory and field testing where high impact resistance is required.
