Description

Overview
ASC EQ-3215 is a triaxial analog accelerometer engineered for ultra-low-noise seismic and vibration measurements. It delivers a differential analog voltage output and is optimized to detect very small vibration amplitudes for safety-critical structural monitoring applications.

Technology
Sensors of the ASC EQ-3215 use proven capacitive MEMS technology. Integrated electronics provide a differential analog voltage output (±2.7 V FSO) and accept a supply voltage from 5 to 40 VDC. The sensor achieves ultra-low noise performance with resolution below 1 µg and includes a built-in self-test for functionality verification.

Housing
The device is housed in a stainless-steel enclosure with ingress protection to IP65. A detachable cable is provided with configurable lengths and connector options to suit installation requirements.

Applications
Designed for continuous monitoring of safety-critical structures, ASC EQ-3215 is suitable for seismic monitoring and structural health monitoring in environments such as power plants, tunnels and other critical infrastructure where detection of the smallest vibration amplitudes is required.
