OverviewSensors ASC EQ-2215 are biaxial MEMS capacitive accelerometers engineered for ultra-low-noise seismic and vibration measurements. Integrated electronics provide a differential analog voltage output (±2.7 V FSO) and a flexible supply range from 5 to 40 VDC. Typical noise density is < 1.2 µg/√Hz and resolution < 1 µg. Devices meet motion class B requirements for seismic monitoring. A built-in self-test enables functional verification.
HousingThe instrument is housed in a stainless steel enclosure with protection class IP65. It is supplied with a detachable cable; cable length and connector configuration are configurable to installation requirements.
ApplicationsIntended for continuous monitoring of safety-critical building components and civil structures (e.g., power plants, tunnels, bridges) where detection of very small vibration amplitudes and seismic events is required. Suitable for structural health monitoring and vibration analysis.
