OverviewThe ASC IMU 7-MF is a 6-DOF inertial measurement unit (analog) providing separate analog voltage outputs for all six degrees of freedom. Built on MEMS accelerometers and MF (vibrating-ring) accelerometer technology combined with industrial-grade gyroscopes, the device uses a modular concept that enables configurable acceleration and angular-rate ranges per axis. TechnologyThe IMU combines MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes to detect linear accelerations and angular rates. MF (Medium Frequency) vibrating-ring accelerometers are paired with industrial-grade gyroscopes. Integrated electronics provide separate analog voltage outputs for each axis and the modular hardware concept permits flexible combination of measurement ranges.
