OverviewASC EQ-1215 is a uniaxial MEMS capacitive accelerometer with a differential analog voltage output. Integrated electronics provide a differential full-scale output of ±2.7 V (FSO) and a flexible supply voltage range from 5 to 40 VDC. The sensor features ultra-low noise with a resolution < 1 µg, meeting motion class B requirements for seismic measurements. A built-in self-test enables functionality verification.
HousingThe accelerometer is housed in a stainless steel enclosure with protection class IP65. It is supplied with a detachable cable; cable length and connector type are configurable to application requirements.
ApplicationsDesigned for continuous monitoring of safety-critical structures and seismic monitoring tasks, e.g. structural health monitoring in power plants, tunnels and constructions affected by tectonic processes. Suitable for reliable detection of very small vibration amplitudes.
