ProductASC EQ-2211 is a biaxial analog accelerometer using MEMS capacitive sensor technology. It delivers a differential analog voltage output (±2.7 V FSO) and is intended for ultra low noise seismic and vibration measurements where high resolution is required.
Sensor details- Sensor type: Accelerometer (analog)
- Sensor technology: MEMS capacitive
- Number of sensitive directions: Biaxial
- Output signal: Voltage (differential analog output, ±2.7 V FSO)
- Measurement range [g]: ±3 g and ±5 g options
TechnologyThe ASC EQ-2211 is built on proven MEMS capacitive principles with integrated electronics that provide a stable differential output and a wide supply voltage range (5 to 40 VDC). The sensor features ultra low noise performance with a resolution below 1 µg and meets motion class B for seismic measurements. A built-in self-test allows functional verification on site.
HousingThe unit is housed in a lightweight aluminum enclosure rated to IP67. A detachable cable is provided; cable length and connector types can be configured to application requirements.
ApplicationsDesigned for structural and seismic monitoring where detecting very small vibration amplitudes is critical. Typical applications include seismic monitoring of power plants, tunnels, bridges and other infrastructure elements subject to tectonic or operational vibration.
